While many systems can be ordered online, some properties require a professional on-site evaluation to ensure proper design, safety, and long-term performance. Homes with rooftop or balcony units, tight attics, low-clearance crawlspaces, limited access, older duct systems, or HOA and permit restrictions often need customized planning. In these cases, a standard installation package may not be sufficient. In addition, all mini-split system projects require an on-site evaluation to confirm proper placement, routing, and electrical requirements.
